We did get evacuated

You guys are so AWESOME!!!  I have been so touched by the comments here on my blog and the e-mails I've received concerning our safety!

We stayed at our daughter's home last night and are just waiting now to find out when we can go home again!  In the meantime, I have lots of time to work on Operation Wood Hollow!  :o)

This is a picture of the fire (Seeley fire) that is now on the EAST side of our valley.  We were evacuated because of the Wood Hollow fire on the WEST side.

More Wood Hollow . . .

This is a picture of one home out of 15 in a subdivision that survived the fire . . .

I am so grateful for all of my blessings!  Our family is safe and I have lots great friends (that's you)!!!  That's all I need!  :o)

I'll try to keep you posted as things progress around here!  Please keep spreading the word about Operation Wood Hollow!  THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU'RE DOING!!!  You guys are the BEST!!!  :o)

Hugs!

  4. IF you are still in need I have a freshly done quilt hanging around here that is not getting any use. Its more for a baby/toddler girl though.

  7. I've got several quilts I can send, but I was wanting to know what you're interested in. I've got a baby boy quilt, three toddler-ish quilts, a couple of lap quilts. What do you want? And I'd need your address. We'll see what fits in a couple of flat rate boxes.

  8. I have a baby quilt top, as well as one UFO baby quilt (hand quilting mostly finished) with fabric for binding that I would be happy to send along if you are in need of them. I also have a few mug rugs and checkbook covers/coupon holders that I'd be happy to send along as well if you're looking for some extra goodies to add to the quilt gifts. Just let me know if you need any of it and I'd be happy to send it to you.
